Thoughts
Richard gave me my first job in shipping almost 37 years ago and l have worked with him as my manager for most of those years. He is an absolute legend who would do anything for you. I have total respect for him and he always had the time to stop and chat and be interested in my life and career. He will be sadly missed and l have lost a good friend

Richard or as we knew you Chappo. You sir were the best of the best and have always been remembered throughout the years as an absolute legend. Every time I’ve come in contact with the old crew we always would say what a gent you were and the best brach manager to walk this earth. Thank you for everything you did for me when a was a wee pup starting out. I will forever remember you with fondness and admiration 🫶🏻

I’ll always remember Richard as the kind of person who made life better for everyone around him. He wasn’t just your dad Jade—he was there for me too, always ready to drive us wherever we needed to go, to make sure we were safe, happy, and doing the things we loved. His kindness and generosity will never be forgotten, and I feel so lucky to have known him.
